Join Irma StarSpirit Woman a core member of the New York Shamanic Circle, and discover your authentic self, transforming the outside body, and re-introducing your creative energies, re-leasing them through mask making. Encounter your Medicine Vision, this vision marks a change in your personal life’s path, followed by a new name, new identity.
As a seer, it is time to show your proven talent, look at the inhibitions that block your path of beauty, find that which calls to each of us to express our talents. This new creation of “self” will be achieved through art, medicine, and performance. Express the truth of your inner being, your sense of love, and self-expression. Creating a mask that speaks to your soul and to your community.
This day is a preparatory workshop. We will create the mask and journey to find our new name, and identity. Irma, will be available to consult everyone on how to finish their mask at home using carving, painting and designing them.
Their will be a future Mask Welcoming Ceremony / Day of the Dead Ceremony, will be held on October 30th, 2010, Announced at a future date.
